    Fun mini cat!

From running it as an R2 paddlecat on gnarly whitewater to having an ultra maneuverable oar boat for solo multi-day floats if you add a frame.

The Slice 11 is a good type of boat to have in your quiver.

Don't expect it to perform on Lava Falls-sized rapids or to carry much gear, but for everything else this is a great little boat.

Lots of value. Very well designed and built. Especially for the price!

    Pros:

    - Two handy zippered gear storage pouches.

    - High pressure dropped stitched floor.

    - Wear patches on the top and bottom of the tubes.

    - Frame-ready or R2 it as a paddle cat.

    - Terrific value.

    - Welded seams.

    - Large 20” tubes.

    - C7 valves.

    Cons:

    - Performs pretty squirrelly as an R1.

    - Low capacity for people and/or gear.

    - A “quiver boat.” Not practical as an only boat.

A fun, capable, and convenient boat

I love this boat, and so does my wife (my regular R2 partner). It is incredibly capable of handling handling waves and drops, and is very maneuverable. Class III+ this weekend was a breeze, and we have some Class IV plans for it soon. The built in bags are wonderful. They mean no rigging, which let's you get on the water faster, access your stuff easier when on the water, and manage takeout faster. I will miss those zippered bags on every other boat I am in. I fit multiple water bottles, a K-PUMP, a dry bag, snacks, and have a bunch of room left over. They are so nice. The inflatable floor is nice. It makes locking in very easy. I am sure if you removed it it would still go well, but I don't think I will ever take it out. The boat is very firm and rigid at 2.5 psi, and I noticed no flex in the boat at that pressure. So if you like a hard boat, within the max pressure specs you can have that for sure. Soften it is just a bit and you get a comfortable ride that I really like. I have had a blast with my new boat. I absolutely recommend it. This is an R2 machine, it's a ton of fun, and it's a great price for what you get. Build feels abd look really good. I expect many years from this boat.
