UPDATE: As of August 1, 2025, Outdoorplay is no longer operating out of the Hood River, OR location. If you choose In-store Pickup, you can pick up your order at the Alder Creek retail store in Portland: 200 NE Tomahawk Island Dr, Portland, OR 97217.
Can I order online and pick up my order locally?
Yes! Our in-store pickup service makes it easy to shop online and pick up your order 1 Business Day after receipt at the Alder Creek retail store in Portland, Oregon.
How does in-store pickup work?
Shop www.outdoorplay.com and add your selections to your cart. In checkout, select “Pickup In Store” and use our address of 200 NE Tomahawk Island Dr, Portland, OR 97217. Then just place your order. You’ll receive an email notification once your order has been processed with instructions on In-store Pickup. You just need to stop into the retail store with your name and order number. It’s that easy!
How will I know when my order is ready for pickup?
You’ll be notified via email when your order is ready with instructions on how to pick up your order.
What do I need to bring to pick up my order?
You will need two things, your Photo ID & your order email confirmation.
Once I arrive, how do I get my Pickup order?
Here’s how it works:
Pop into the Alder Creek retail store in Portland. Show your order confirmation and photo ID at the counter, and we'll grab your order for you.
Do you offer contactless/curbside pickup at the new location?
No, at this time we aren't able to offer contactless/curbside service at the new Alder Creek location.
Is there designated parking for In-Store Pickup?
No, we don't have designated parking for order pickups.
Is there a fee for In-Store Pickup?
There’s no fee for pickup.
What are hours of Curbside Pickup?
In-Store Pickup hours are during normal operating hours, M-F 10am to 5pm PST and weekends 9am to 6pm PST.
How long will my order be held for?
We’ll hold your order for 4 days from the order placement – if you don’t make it in by then, we’ll automatically cancel the order and process a refund. If you can’t pick up your order within 4 days and you don’t want it to be canceled, contact our Customer Experience Team at 1-800-994-4327 or customerservice@outdoorplay.com or Contact Us to request a one-time extension. We will hold your order for another four days.
What happens if I don’t pick up my order?
We’ll cancel and refund your order back to the original form of payment.
How do I cancel my order?
While the amount of time you have is limited to 1 hour, you can cancel your order by contacting our Customer Experience Team during business hours via chat, email, or by calling 1-800-994-4327 within 1 hour of your order being placed. Please visit our Contact Us page for hours.
Note: We work hard to process your order quickly. If your order has already been processed, simply don’t pick it up and it will automatically be refunded after four days.
Can I return an item to the warehouse that I got via In-Store Pickup?
Yes! Simply click here to create your return request and select "Return to store" when you choose your return method.
