    Works Great For Factory Crossbars

Used these to transport an 80lb aluminum 2 person canoe about 100mi on the interstate. They attached very easily to my 2008 Subaru Impreza 4dr sedan with factory crossbars. I secured the canoe with 3 straps; 1 on the bow to front bumper, 1 on the stern to rear bumper, and 1 around the center from front crossbar to rear cross bar. The canoe remained stable the entire trip.
