    A+ to have

Yes it transforms into a strobe and yes the lime yellow is visible...but most important it is also a low light flashlight to be usefull on a night dive.

I suggest you grease the seal ring.

Perfect for kayaking in poor visibility

I have two of these for padding in fall weather when the sun goes down before I am off the water. There are tons of salmon fisherman on the river, and many of them drink beer. To be safe, I attach one to the front of my PDF and one to the back so that I am clearly visible to all power boaters who are not looking for kayakers. The strobes are very bright and I can see exactly when the other boaters notice me and steer a course away. A must have.
