Product title: NRS Matik Inflatable Lifejacket (PFD)
SKU: ELJ_NSMATIK-Charcoal-Universal

The NRS Matik Inflatable Lifejacket (PFD) resembles a traditional lifevest with the compact convenience of an inflatable. An alternative to waist-belted PFDs, the lightweight, low-profile Matik gives you on-demand flotation that doesn't get in your way stand-up paddling, fishing or wading.

  • Low-profile, lightweight & self-inflating
  • Folds compactly into a horse-collar style jacket
  • Secures w/ a waist buckle when deflated
  • Pull the red tab to engage in the event of a swim
  • Zippered pocket w/ internal tether for keys or a whistle
  • 2 D-Ring attachment points
  • Manual backup cord, mouth inflation valve & reflective accents
  • Includes one-time-use CO2 cartridge & re-packing instructions
  • Meets USCG Type III requirements when worn

Due to shipping restrictions, the CO2 cylinder that comes with this lifejacket can only be shipped via Ground services. While the jacket can be expedited, no expedited shipping options are available for the cylinder. Also, the CO2 cylinder cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii or international destinations.

Technical Specifications

US Coast Guard Rating Type V (meets Coast Guard requirement for a Type III when worn)
Buoyancy 22.5 lbs.
Inflator 24-gram CO2 cylinder
Automatic Inflation No
Shell Fabric 420D ripstop nylon
Entry Style Over the head w/ waist buckle

Adjustment System 1-waist

Please Note - An inflatable PFD is certified by the US Coast Guard as a Type V PFD. However, it meets Coast Guard requirements for Type III PFDs when it is worn. In other words, you must be wearing the deflated collar for it to qualify as a required flotation device.

CO2 cartridges are one-time-use only. It’s good practice to keep an extra on hand to re-arm the PFD after each inflation.

    NRS Matik Inflatable Lifejacket

Comfortable low profile life jacket. It does not impede my fishing and provides piece of mind.
