    Excellent over layer

I prefer a form of capillene or similar for base layer and use this as an overlayer. I choose the weight of baselayer depending on conditions. That keeps this layer relatively clean and I just have to wash / swap out the baselayers day to day. Unless you want to be as smelly as your fellow boaters? Bonus of a union suit is it prevents the dreaded waistline gap that can happen with 2 piece insulation. I also prefer the stretchy neck entry over dealing with zippers for in the suit comfort. The fleece itself is fairly stretchy, no binding at all even if snug with base layers. Like all IR synthetic garments it runs a bit large. I'm on the low side of large for most garments and Medium Union Suit allows for snug / stretchy underlayering up to R1 grid fleece.

    Thick skin union suit

This union suit is a great fit. I'm just under 5'9" and around 205. I have the XL and it's great. It keeps me very warm and comfortable on chilly to cold days on the water. It's really no trouble getting in and out of.

Ease of gettig in and out of the suit

It is really hard to get in and out of the suit, since you have to come in through the neck. Really hard to get it off, once you start sweating, and you are tired from kayaking all day.
