If you think you may need to return or exchange any part of your order later, opting into this small fee up front will cover the cost of your return shipping label. (This is a great deal since our average return shipping label is about $12!)
If you choose not to opt into the Return Protection, you will be responsible for the cost of your return shipping label. The cost of return shipping is based on the weight and size of the product you will be returning.
All sales on Used Items are final: no returns, exchanges, or refunds. Please note, we reserve the right to include a processing fee for some returns (for example, when cleaning or reboxing is required, if you refuse to receive shipment, etc.), which will be deducted from your refund. Oversized items (very large or over 50 lbs.) will require us to manually arrange return shipping.

We offer free standard shipping on most orders over $49 shipped within the contiguous United States. Some exclusions apply. The following are not eligible for free shipping:
- Oversized items that ship using freight services
- Alaska/Hawaii/US Territories
- APO/FPO
- International orders (shipping outside the USA)
Orders shipped using the Free Standard option will be shipped using the most economical method offered by UPS, USPS, or FedEx to your shipping address. Transit times may vary.
If you need to request that either UPS or USPS specifically be used for your delivery, please reach out to us directly prior to placing your order.
Pricing and method availability may vary based on the size of your order and your zip/postal code.

Expedited Methods:
2 day expedited shipping and 1 day overnight shipping are available for an additional fee at checkout. Please note that expedited orders may not be picked up by the carrier until the following business day.
What to Expect:
- We will send you an email with your tracking number when your order has shipped.
- Your order may ship in multiple shipments. You will receive a separate notification as each portion of your order ships.
- Tracking updates may not be available for a couple of hours after the order is shipped.

Cataract SGG Counter-Balanced Composite Raft Oar Shaft w/ Wrap & Stop
- Spiral wound fiberglass and carbon fiber lay up flexes and rebounds like a wooden oar without the maintenance issues of wood
- Four-pound weight added counters the weight of the oar out past the oarlock
- The end of the handle is notched for thumb placement
- The shaft comes with rope wrap and rubber stopper for quiet rowing
- Cataract shafts are made with the same filament wound glass/carbon/epoxy composite technology used by the aerospace industry

Product Tips:
- The oar stop needs to be rolled onto the rope. The distance will depend on personal rowing preferences
- If you have not previously used rope-wrapped oars with your oarlocks, be sure to examine the inside surfaces of the horns for any rough places or imperfections. Using the oars in oarlocks that cause premature wear of the rope wrap may not be covered by warranty
