    Durable and Light

I have been climbing for over 20 years and frankly never wanted to wear a helmet unless I was alpine climbing, but now that I am a bit older and hopefully wiser I have been trying to make the transition. This helmet is so light and comfortable that it is almost like it is not there. Because it does not rely on a thin plastic shell along withe the foam for its structural integrity, you don't have to baby it quite as much as other light helmets. The buckle does have some issue at times, but that is because it has a magnet that picks up iron dust and that keeps the buckle fully closing. Wipe it off and you should have no problems. You can test to see if buckle is fully engaged by simply pulling, so it really should not pop off while climbing. If only this helmet came in a more appealing color.
