Neoprene boot with sturdy sole ..good for rocky shore terrain. Huge improvement over my past dive type boots with thin soles.
A bit harder to put on than dive boots but worth it to prevent injury and stay warm.

PLUS: fantastic design - keeps sand + stones out, keeps feet warm, great protection + ankle support.
MINUS: Laces are almost too long; really do need a lycra sock to ease on + off, could use just a little more arch support.
