Took the new MSR 10L gravity filter on a 7 person 3 night backpacking trip and it worked flawlessly! So well in fact that I never had to fill it up because everyone else wanted to. It was refilled at least 6 times and there was no initial priming problem whatsoever. Just run a quart through to get it started and forget about it.
Next to the French toast for one mornings breakfast the MSR filter was the biggest hit of the trip.

Took this to the Grand Canyon with me and works pretty good! This filter is really good if you are trying to filter out particles in the water rather than just filtering the water.
