Love this bike rack! It was easy to assemble and while it was on, my bike felt very stable. The six lashing hook straps and hard rubber pieces that lay against the car and the window were great features. An old bike rack I had previously used only four lashing straps (two on the top, two on the bottom, none on the sides) and foam padding which was especially concerning while going over bumpy roads, whereas these features made the Malone rack feel stable and secure. The arms sat a little wide for my friend's smaller bike, but I was otherwise very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

Good rack overall for transporting bikes. The issues I have stem more from the car design than the rack design: visibility out of the rear window is already sub-par in a 2018 RAV4, and adding bikes to the mix does not help matters. Also, the rim at the bottom of the rear hatch is not quite deep enough to let the rack clip grip as well as it should. You have to keep checking it to make sure the clip hasn't fallen out of the bottom of the door--which it did once or twice on our recent trip.

All that said, bikes and rack remained snugly attached to the car, and this rack worked well for securely transporting three bikes on a 1400 mile roundtrip drive to Florida.
