I've had this bag for months now and it has held up extremely well. I've hauled this bad boy through multiple rainstorms and even a blizzard and not a drop of water has seeped through. Although it is very good at shedding moisture much like the Patagonia black hole bags I would definitely not recommend it for any fishing/ water sport activities as it is not at all meant for that. I can easily stuff the main compartment with a hammock, blanket, parables, book, essentials kit, first aid kit, and a knife and still have room for a shell or squished down sleeping bag, while I put things like my phone a Swiss Army knife and wallet in the smaller pocket. I love the daisy chains on the back as they allow for the attachment of straps and carabiners so you can put an extra shell or anything you'd like to clip to the outside of the pack, although I did cut off the bungee cord as it is kind of an annoyance in my opinion if you already have straps on the ouside of the bag. My only gripe is that the water bottle straps suck at carrying a water bottle your much better off putting some gloves or maybe a hat or scarf in the pockets than actually using them for what they're made for, unless you have a strap to clip the bottle to. Overall this is the best pack I've owned as it balances out functionality, style, customizablity and weight into one small package. Was this helpful?
