    Quality Bag with great features!

I just got this bag as a gift and it has been awesome so far! The sleeping pad sleeve is awesome and ist compatible with various brands and sizes. I've had it at about 20F and haven't had to fully zip up the bag. I'm very interested to try it out closer to single digits, but I have alot of confidence that I will be toasty in the bag at those temps. Also, the anti-snag zipper is probably the best feature.

    warm and sooooooo comfortable!

I use this bag paired up with the Q-Core Deluxe sleeping pad and it has been a match made in heaven. The bag stays put on top of the pad thanks to the sleeve pocket that the bag has purposely and I can turn and move all I want without falling off the pad or getting the bag wrapped around me. To me this is the most impressive feature about the BA sleeping system. I camped out several times in 30F temperatures and felt way comfortable and warm. I was surprised to read the only other reviews of the bag giving it 1star because the bag doesn't have insulation on part of the bag that rests on the pad. That is how the Big Agnes bag+pad system works. Read up about it but in short: BA figured that when you sleep you compress the loft that is between you and the pad and since that compressed loft is not doing anything to keep you warm they figured they could eliminate it. In my opinion it works great and the fact that the sleeping bag has a sleeve on the back that keeps the bag anchored to the pad makes it so comfortable because I can twist and turn all I want without getting the bag tangled around me like it used to happen when I was using traditional mummy bags. However make sure you pick a pad that insulates you well from the ground. That is why I use the q-core deluxe. I tried lighter less insulting pads Like the slx and found that in 30f and below temperature they weren't enough. In the early spring when the ground is still frozen, I bring the BA foam pad to put below my deluxe.
