This high density foam is used as an orthotic shoe insert rather than a floatation aid. My leeeft foot partially amputated and this foam is shaped into a filler for the front area of the shoe. It works quite well. I just need to see how long the foam lasts as I use the shoes. Rather than move the foam from shoe to shoe as I wear different ones, I shape the foam to place in various shoes.
