The paddle is awesome. I paddle very aggressively, long stoke, body-weight fold, straight-arms - and it works amazingly. There is no play between the pieces, too! Highly recommended.

Love the quality of this paddle the finish is nicer than my kayak paddle by the W brand. the joint and finish on the lower section is awesome. the upper and adjustable handle is perfect for me. the ability to take it apart for travel will be great. Its road trip time. hopefully it will hold up in adverse conditions.

I bought this to go with our inflatable SUPs. I wanted to have something that we could easily travel with. The construction of it surpasses paddles that cost $100+ dollars more. There are always going to be some compromises with a breakdown design so if you don't need it I would recommend the standard adjustable version, but if you want the portability there is no better option.
