Perfect Compliment to Other Jetboil Stoves

Having owned several other Jetboil stoves over the years and needing something super light and super small it was easy to give the MightyMo a try. True to Jetboil fashion it's a great stove. It has a nice base so pots are stable, it's got great flame control so you don't overheat things, and it has a regulator for cold weather use...that's a lot for such a little stove. If you're looking for the perfect stove to pair with a titanium pot or just need something to add to your stove quiver the MightyMo might be your answer.

    Jetboil MightyMo Camp Stove

I got home and played with it. It has amazing simmer control, extreme heat output on high, and is much more stable than I imagined it could be. Just cooked up a pot of percolated coffee to test it out. The coffee percolator is a bit topheavy, but this thing held it solid. Great Buy!!! Can't wait to use it in the woods. It's replacing an old MSR white gas Whisperlite; this thing is soooo much smaller and convenient. That white gas stove was a pain in the butt and didn't simmer at all. This thing fits in the cup of my GSI Backpacker mug, too. So it's a huge improvement. The height of the burner above the canister is nice and protects the canister from heat, but it does make it a bit harder to use a windscreen. But that's the only knock on it.

    Jetboil MightyMo Camp Stove

I have only used this once and I am already impressed. There is great simmer control and it can fit into my pocket. I will be getting a windscreen though because I was on a beach and it was very windy- so it did take awhile to boil, but that was not the fault of the stove. I tested it indoors before I left and it boiled water in no time.
