The NRS Molded Oar Sleeve protects the shaft of your oar from abrasion and fits nicely in open oar locks. Made from tough, injection-molded polyethylene, it is designed to fit over Cataract and Carlisle oar shafts. It clamps securely to the oar shaft with a threaded bolt and nut.

Please Note: The top of the Molded Oar Sleeve is slotted to allow some adjustability for slight differences in oar shaft diameters. Only tighten the adjustment bolt until the Sleeve is firmly in place. Over-tightening the bolt can crack the plastic. This damage is NOT covered by warranty.

This is a cheap and efficient way of getting a stop and protecting your oars. Wrapping looks great, but is more intense for installation (if you do your own) and pricier. And sleeves are also easily adustable if you change frames, boats or geometry.
