Event: GoPaddle!-The 2000 West Coast Sea Kayak Symposium Event Date: 9/15/2000 Description: It's summer once again, and it's time for the 17th annual West Coast Sea Kayak Symposium, the largest sea kayak symposium in the world giving both beginners and experienced paddlers an opportunity to demo boats, talk directly to manufacturers and retailers from around the world and attend classes and workshops taught by renowned experts and outfitters. This year's event will include over 80 classes perfect for the novice or the expert, and covering everything from currents and tides to kayak design. Classes take place indoors, outdoors and of course, on the water, with presentations by kayak legends Derek Hutchinson and Wayne Horodowich. New classes will include lectures on kayaking in Thailand, paddling with whales and youth paddling programs. Kayaking is an increasingly popular sport because it allows paddlers of different skill and endurance levels to participate. The West Coast Sea Kayak Symposium offers the perfect opportunity to introduce yourself to kayaking, increase your skill level or simply test the latest designs in kayaks and accesories. This year's symposium is bigger than ever, offering the largest selection of boats and accessories anywhere at discounted prices!
