Event: GoPaddle! - The Bay Area PaddleFest Event Date: 9/23/2000 Description: Back by popular demand, the Bay Area Paddlefest was last year's most successful new event. This year we will, again be using Coyote Point Park's windsurfing beach as our venue. Classes and clinics will be mostly of the beginner and intermediate skill levels. Refine your skills. Demo boats. This is your opportunity. GoPaddle! Location: San Francisco, CA Directions: Coyote Point Park is located at 1701 Coyote Point Dr., in San Mateo, California. From San Francisco: Take Hwy 101 south to Poplar Ave. Exit in San Mateo, go straight to the first light Humboldt St. and make a right turn. Go to next light Peninsula Ave. and make a right turn. Go over the overpass and make a left turn. Then make a left turn onto Coyote Point Dr. Follow signs to the park entrance. (If you're going to the Captain's House, follow the signs) From San Jose Take Hwy 101 North to Dore Ave. Exit in San Mateo. Make an immediate left turn onto the frontage road for 1/4 mile and make a right turn onto Coyote Point Dr. the city golf course will be on your right. Follow the signs to the park entrance. From the East Bay: Take Hwy 580, to the San Mateo Bridge (880) and then to Hwy 92 West.
