Intro
The event site for the last of the IR Triple Crown events is located
5 miles downstream of Erwin at the old Chuckey's Restaurant. The
Chuckey's/ Big Rocks site features a bucket-style foam pile, which
allows for all combinations of vertical moves. The freestyle event
features pro class only.
The Angst Squirt Boat Nationals,
to be held at Cowbells on the lower Nolichucky, will be held in
conjunction with the IR freestyle events. Cowbells squirt hole
earned its name from a mystery move specialist who went so deep
he heard cowbells ringing in his ears. Needless to say, the Squirt
Nationals will be the most unseen event of the IR Triple Crown.
The Squirt Boat Nationals are attracting a legendary crowd, including
Jim Snyder and Jeff Snyder
