Sizing for Yakima SUPPup Roof Rack:

Fits round, square, factory & aerodynamic crossbars right out of the box. Holds boards up to 34 inches wide. Recommended load method is fin up, fin first. Please use padding between boards. Keep in mind in case of moderate to high winds you may have to take additional precautions securing the boards.

After short trips to the local bayou and Gulf, and now midway through a 1,400 mile trip with 2 SUP's on top, I give these a 5 for ease of set up and stable transport. Really solid strap system holds tight (no loosening at all despite 70+ mph for hours at a time) and a unique storage slot avoids dilemma of how to tie down extra strap length. I give it a 3.5 for ease of use, as these are better suited for a from-the-side mounting approach as with a car or small SUV, vs. sliding on from the rear as needed on my taller XTerra. The board surface doesn't pass easily over the soft rubber pads. Not a problem if you have the Yakima Showboat or other rear rollers, as you'll need to place the board in position rather than slide it back or forth. Like another reviewer mentioned, if theft is a concern, you'll have to remove the racks or develop your own lock system. Easy to accomplish by drilling a hole through each rack and securing to the bars with short cable locks, but not nearly as clean as the usual Yak key system. Probably coming in the next iteration. Overall, a strong, simple, worry-free solution that lives up to Yakima's original slogan, Any load, any road.
