Outdoorplay happily accepts product returns and exchanges.
Our product return and exchange process is very easy. Simply return the product within 30 days of the date of purchase. Fill out the return form on the back of the invoice you received and send it with the product. Once we receive the merchandise back we will send out new items and/or credit the original form of payment.
We offer FREE Shipping on every order over $39 to anywhere in the continental USA! Orders under are only $6.95.
International Orders: No problem. We ship all over the world! Just add items to your cart and proceed to checkout to receive shipping rates. Rates are based on address location. For all kayak orders, we will contact you with a shipping quote. Your order will not be finalized until you approve the shipping charges. Please note international shipping times can vary due to location and Customs processing time. Average delivery time is approximately 2 weeks. You will also be responsible for all Customs duties and taxes.

All Tula hats have been tested by California Polytechnic State University and were awarded the 50+ UPF rating, the highest possible for sun protective gear. The Tula Lifeguard Hat may not save your life, but it will save your day on the water!
My doctor suggests I wear a wide-brimmed hat for UV protection. This hat is the ultimate. It has a rake to it that makes it look rather Australian. Well made and priced right.

The overall construction of this hat is commendable. The weave is tight so no sun gets through, yet cool enough that you stay comfortable. It also comes with a 50 SPF rating. The brim is wider than most lifeguard hats I've seen and because of this, I've gotten some compliments about it's functionality. It's true to fit and very comfy to wear all day. I wish the brim was a tad thicker to prevent it from blowing up (or down) when the wind picks up. Then, I would have given this 5 stars. Bottom line, if you want shade, this is the hat to wear.

I use this hat every weekend to mow about an acre of grass just outside Nashville, TN. The Southern sun (what humidity? :) ) is brutal, but this hat not only protects my head and face but my neck and shoulders. It's light weight and fits very comfortably. A very small quible is the length of the strings; they come very long and initially got in my way but that was a quick fix.

This is an awesome shade hat for kayaking, I've worn it in some pretty stiff wind out on open lake water and the push button cinch kept this huge hat on my head...off water this definitely draws attention - a winner!
