Our product return and exchange process is very easy. Simply return the product within 30 days of the date of purchase. Fill out the return form on the back of the invoice you received and send it with the product. Scotty ORCA Kayak Fishing Rod Holder - The Orca by Scotty has the fastest rod release of any holder on the market. It is manufactured with fiber reinforced engineering grade nylon which offers strength, resilience and reliability. With one quick motion, your fishing rod is lifted straight out into the fish fighting position. This holder has a unique Side or Deck Mounting Bracket with new Lock Down Feature. The holder tilts up and down, including upright for rod storage and locks closed for traveling. The ORCA swivels a complete 360 degrees. To use the new Scotty "lock-down" mount system, simply choose the best direction to fish from and insert the rod holder or accessory, pushing the post straight down into the mount. The Orca can be mounted on top or side of your boat's gunnel.
I bought these for White Sea Bass fishing in the Monterrey Bay. I consider Scotty a very reputable maker and these rod holders are no exeption. Quality is top notch. The one issue i have with these is that to extract the rod from the holder requires a vertical lifting. that same lifting wants to pull the holder from the gunnel of the boat. so it ends up a two handed uperation anyway. going this again i would buy the original holders, they are half the price and work very well.

When I switched over to the Scotty Orca pole holder I was able to set the hook quicker because by grabbing the pole and yanking it up released the pole from the holder by rolling up and out with one sharp pull. All my fishing buddies are switching to this new type. Try one and you won't go back to the old style.
