Our product return and exchange process is very easy. Simply return the product within 30 days of the date of purchase. Fill out the return form on the back of the invoice you received and send it with the product. Petzl UNIVERSO Rock Climbing Belay Device - The UNIVERSO Belay Device by Petzl is a complete and lightweight belay system that is particularly comfortable and efficient to use on all rope diameters. This system consists of a VERSO belay device, an ATTACHE 3D carabiner and an exclusive sliding connection piece. The exclusive connection piece allows the VERSO belay device to remain in position and the ATTACHE 3D carabiner to work along its major axis. The connection piece also limits the risk of dropping the belay device during rope maneuvers. The UNIVERSO offers quick and easy installation on your rope and helps reduced the risk of being burnt by the belay device when removing it from the rope. It's a single device for all rope types offering effective braking on single, half and twin ropes and increased friction on thin ropes. The friction is adapted for larger diameter ropes. Asymmetrically grooved sidewalls allow for increased braking power during a leader or top-rope fall or while rappelling and the rope slides smoothly through the UNIVERSO when taking up slack and won't twist. The Petzl UNIVERSO Belay Device is the perfect combination of a VERSO and an ATTACHE 3D held in optimal position by a sliding connection piece.

I am a novice climber who just got into this sport about 8 months ago. I have probably been to an indoor wall 18 times now and purchased this after I was tired of using a GriGri or someone else's device. The carbiner is smooth to operate. I like the red threads for when you haven't screwed the device to safe position when belaying. I have taught a few of my athletes (I coach cross country) on this device and they prefer it after trying the GriGri. Highly Recommend for the price, quality, and it doesn't look bad either!
