Fill out the return form on the back of the invoice you received and send it with the product. I have been using the older version of the R3 jacket for years in all kinds of weather. While it is light and very breathable, it is not very warm. The new version though is much softer and warmer. Very glad I purchased one.

Extremely comfortable, the softest fleece I have ever worn. Pretty thick as well so it's fairly wind resistant and good for temps in the upper 30s -40s. Why not 5/5 stars? Fleece sheds a little bit, I find blue shreds here and there. Also the graphite lining for "used area's" like the elbows, aren't really on the elbows to I foresee the elbows and bottom of the forearms wearing easily.

Remember the original pile jacket? It had the soft and fuzzy side of the material against the skin. For years manufacturers have flipped this around to have the nice side visible, just to have a cool looking jacket, at the expense of functionality. Well, here you can have it both ways - soft 'n' fuzzy on both the inside for comfort and warmth and outside to snuggle up... and look unique. Jacket is so soft and relatively light. Makes an incredible pillowcase on a hut trip. As with all Patagonia products, I wish they made Tall sizes, like REI, LL Bean Eddie Bauer, etc. do. I have to wear this jacket in a Large to get any decent sleeve length. Some day I'll perhaps be able to purchase a Medium-Tall. Other than the inherent sizing issue, I'd add thumb loops. Why do only women's jackets and tops offer up thumb loops?
