Mens Nano Puff Jacket
|Patagonia Men's Nano Puff Jacket - The Men's Nano Puff Jacket by Patagonia is an insulated jacket in spring squalls, a sleek micro-belay parka on chilly rock routes and a thermal midlayer, all in one. The wind-blocking, recycled polyester shell sheds moisture and also glides effortlessly between layers. Low-bulk, hydrophobic, highly compressible PrimaLoft ONE insulation traps heat with remarkable efficiency, even when wet. This synthetic insulation uses a patented microfiber structure to help the body retain warmth and conserve energy. The jacket has a shaped fit and the soft, wicking interior storm flap and zipper garage adds chin comfort when zipped up. Its internal zippered chest pocket doubles as a stuff sack when not in use. It also has two zippered handwarmer pockets, elasticized cuffs and a dual-adjust drawcord hem to seal out wind and seal in warmth. When you're not sure what the day will bring, be sure to pack the Patagonia Men's Nano Puff Jacket.

Easily packable, this jacket was a great addition. Recent trip to NZ saw weather changing from warm to chilly quickly, but throwing on this insulation kept me toasty the entire trip. Even held up to light rain.
This jacket is a must have for all outdoor people! I live and work in the mountains and this jacket serves well for taking kids to school in a blizzard, fly fishing in 20 degree weather, out for a beer and just because it feels so good.

I purchased my Nano Puff three years ago during a mild winter, but it has become my go-to jacket for all kinds of weather from early Fall to late Spring. I love the lightweight feel, but am most impressed by the warmth. Add to that the windproof qualities of this jacket and you have an essential piece of technical clothing that's perfect for anything from backpacking to cycling. My current favorite cold-weather setup is a wool baselayer + R3 hi-loft jacket + Nano Puff as a shell. When things get a bit warmer, the Nano Puff works well over a simple t-shirt and cuts the chill off cool mornings or evenings. The only problem I've had with mine is that the stitching around the elastic cuff on the sleeves started coming apart after about a year, but I fixed that myself on my wife's sewing machine. Highly recommended!
