Our product return and exchange process is very easy. Simply return the product within 30 days of the date of purchase. Fill out the return form on the back of the invoice you received and send it with the product. Once we receive the merchandise back we will send out new items and/or credit the original form of payment.

Don't forget a spray skirt and cockpit cover! A skirt is important for keeping water out of the boat and the cockpit cover helps keep out rain, dust, and things that crawl! A size 1.4 Deck Seals skirt and cockpit cover fits the Chatham 16.
I have been out in this boat twice. Both times for about two hours in protected waters. I have found the Chatham to be very responsive with adequate initial stability and excellent secondary stability. I find it easy to edge and turn. It tracks well without the skeg and I find my speed increasing quickly in this smooth quiet boat. If you are a newbie and serious about developing yourself ino a competent kayaker, then I would highly recommend this boat. One last thing. The fit and finish are excellent. It does scratch easily for plastic though.
