Sizing for NRS Women's Half-Finger Boater Gloves:
Great gloves, sized for smaller hands. Not much warmth but when well fitting, will prevent blisters and sunburn. I would recommend these to any female paddlers looking for gloves for hot climates.
I bought these gloves for a paddling trip in Costa Rica. I always seem to get sunburned on the back of my hands and I thought these would help. They were light enough so I didn’t get too hot but the lycra blocked the sun’s rays. The leather-like palms gripped the paddle very well. It did seem to hold water a bit but that was more of a cooling feeling than a hindrance. For warm weather boating these were just perfect!
When I’m behind the oars I always get blisters! I’ve been wearing small men’s gloves but they’re a bit loose so that they rub and chafe. I was very excited to find these women’s specific paddling gloves and in really small sizes. No more blisters for me while I’m pushing rubber!
