Men's Crux Drysuit
NRS Men's Crux Drysuit - The Men's Crux Drysuit by NRS is made with an innovative fabric with a performance-cut design. The 4-layer Eclipse fabric, with its proprietary waterproof-breathable barrier and Nanosphere DWR finish, lock water out while letting moisture escape. The supple polyester microfiber shell allows frictionless paddling with superior resistance to puncture and abrasion. A heavy-duty TiZip Masterseal waterproof entry zipper allows easy entrance and it is covered with a hook-and-loop sealed flap for extra protection. It has an overskirt, with a 5 inch wide neoprene band and double-pull hook-and-loop closure that fits over your sprayskirt tunnel to complete a watertight seal. The attached drysocks are made from the same 125 denier Eclipse fabric, and the seams are taped on the inside of the socks with double taping in the toe and heel area for extra durability. Top quality latex wrist and neck gaskets seal water out, while a volcano-style self-draining punch-through neoprene neck overcuff protects the tough latex neck gasket. The volcano-style neoprene cuffs on the wrists and ankles protect the latex wrist gaskets and Eclipse socks. Eclipse fabric reinforces the seat and knees for rugged protection in high-wear areas, while single-seam legs eliminate wear points and improve mobility. A TiZip Masterseal waterproof relief zipper allows you to answer nature's call without having to strip out of the suit. The NRS Men's Crux Drysuit gives kayakers a new standard of unmatched freedom of movement and dry comfort.
Sizing for NRS Men's Crux Drysuit:
Relaxed Fit – Full cut for freedom of motion and layering underneath.
How To Measure:
1. Chest/Bust: With arms down at your sides, measure around the largest part of the chest, generally across the nipples.
2. Waist: Measure at the natural waist; above the hip bones, across the navel.
3. Hips: With feet together, measure around the widest part of the hips, across the fullest point of the buttocks.
4. Head: Measure above brow, around the fullest part of the head.
So far I have only tried this out on flatwater but seems to work for that well. Much quieter than my old suit as far as moving around in it. Easy to take on and off.
