Terraprene is warmer, lighter, and more comfortable than traditional oil-based neoprenes. 4-way stretch PowerSpan and Spandex increase multi-directional stretch over the entire body for greater comfort and support. A titanium laminate adhesive aids in body heat retention, adding to HydroSkin’s superior versatility as either an outer or base layer. The ThermalPlush inner lining increases insulation, repels moisture and dries quickly, while the DWR coating forces water to "bead" and roll off the material. .5mm neoprene combined with a rash guard material feel in the arm pits makes for the perfect cold water base layer. I also noticed that it has antimicrobial treatment to keep the odor down. I used the Hydroskin in combination with a semi dry top; thin enough to layer without loss of movement. First time out consisted of a foggy 5 hour ocean paddle in October, followed by 2 hours of roll practice and some surf. I will also mention that this product has amazing warmth and water shedding ability.

I normally wear this shirt under my wetsuit for extra warmth, but I did use it a lot more this past fall with my long john bottoms before the water became too cold. It really seemed to help keep the chill off my back and shoulders when I was working in and out of the water all day.

Warm, but not confining shirt to wear during daily extreme cold swims. Drys reasonably fast when using on a daily basis with no sum to dry between wearings. Nice skin layer under a neoprene vest. Especially liked that it did not feel like neoprene on the skin and did not sweat bad while while wearing it.
