Relaxed Fit – Comfortable and roomy. Use it for backpacking, travel, work, and hanging out.
I've used these pants kayaking in Gates of the Arctic, backpacking in Wrangell St. Elias and the Alaska Range and cross country skiing around Fairbanks and they are wonderful. I call them my super pants. The range of sizes really helped getting a good fit. Only 1 complain: the belt is worthless and rolls inside the pants all the time which is uncomfortable. Since the belt is sewn in, I can't just take it out. I would suggest just belt loops for future models.

I have had this product since January but now, after using the Nimas for a number of hikes, I feel that I can offer an evaluation. The Nimas are tough, wind resistant, vent easily when needed, and in general are a great addition to my gear bag. I have used them along the Boise Front in weather ranging from 20 degrees and wind to 60 degrees and sunny and have remained comfortable each and every time. On colder days only a base layer was needed and as such there is little bulk to complain about while on the trail. They will be with me on Rainier next month and I have confidence that I will be even more pleased with their performance when I return.

Great pants. These pants are sharp enough to wear out to dinner, and strong enough to be abused anywhere. With a lightweight obsessive lifestyle, I've fine tuned my life to have minimal things. I've had them a bit less than a year, and for the last 6 months of my life, I literally owned one pair of pants and one pair of shorts. The Nima may as well be my house. The only down side for me was that I wore the butt out, but I may have put what some would equal to years of use in it already.
