La Sportiva Miura Rock Climbing Shoes - Miura Climbing Shoes by La Sportiva are perfect for overhanging sport routes, bouldering, gym climbing and technical face climbing. In the line for over 10 years, the Miura is the perfect tool for performance footwork whether it be on slabs, vertical or overhanging steep rock. The high tensioned slingshot rand is tied into the powerhinge on the sole so that when small edges are weighted the shoe stretches in the back half of the shoe and not in the front. This allows you to stick on the smallest edges you can find or imagine! The multi-paneled lining gives you the perfect fit and the speed lacing system laces up in a cinch. If you are looking for a high performance shoe for edging control and pocket climbing, you have found it with the Miura Climbing Shoes by La Sportiva.

La Sportiva has made the ultimate micro edging shoe and is comparable to the stickiness of the infamous 510 rubber. Only defaults that I have found is that it doesn't stick to Yosemite rock as well as I expected.

My Muiras are my only sport climbing specific shoe, and I've had them resoled several times. They remain my most technical, aggressive shoes, and I strongly doubt I need anything else. They are precise, just a little bit soft so they smear well, and incredibly comfortable. They even jam reasonably comfortably without sacrificing much face climbing ability. The only complaint I've heard is that the stock laces break if looked at in the wrong light. Expect to replace the laces early and often. Also, I've heard the heel is uncomfortable for some, but I'm one of the lucky few for which the heel fits perfectly. Definitely try these on before you buy them.
