I recently purchased, what a pleasure to use. Straps took a bit of adjusting to, but other than that I'm now a pro at pulling it apart and stowing it. Being all plastic is a plus for saltwater, but wash it down after each use or the C-Tug will start squeaking. I have now owned and used it for 13 months - no issues.

Found no problem with the C-tug over quite rough terrain like going down over broken concrete and 12 inch drops where the old slip has broken up. Stones, rocks no bother - the clearance is more than I have seen on any other cart - it is deceptive in pictures. Soft sand I haven't encountered yet - with anything. Perhaps for soft sand areas it would be worth dropping the air pressure a little, that would give you a bigger footprint again - but increase rolling resistance on hard ground.

I am on the whole very pleased with the C-Tug Cart. It is very quick to assemble and disassemble, once you have done it a couple of times and it takes only 30 seconds to do it. It is easy to attach to the kayak and sticks to the bottom of the kayak like glue. When the kayak is well positioned the cart takes nearly all the weight and is very easy to pull over asphalt, grass, wet sand, rocks. But deep soft sand was a different story. Maybe it was because we have a Malibu II XL but it was still hard work on soft sand and took two of us lifting it to make good headway. But on the whole it was a very good performing cart. The C-Tug comes apart into nice small stowable sections that fit easily in our middle oval hatch but would not fit in a small round type hatch. Having pulled it through the soft dry sand on return to base the wheels were grinding when turned but a flush with fresh water washed away the sand and the wheels were spinning freely with no harm done. My over all impression was the C-Tug was very good.

I use the c-tug to haul my 17 foot necky from my truck to the water. My only complaint is it slides off when going uphill or through deep sand. I use a bunge cord from the seat opening around the securing strap, now I can go any where without my kayak sliding off. This is an excellent design all plastic and its great that it comes apart for storage. I would recommend it to everyone!

I had two others and sold them after I bought this. Very universal, I have 4 kayaks of different sizes and styles, but it works great with all. Keeps center of gravity low and make it easy to pull. Easy on, easy off. Its a tad on the higher price, but well worth it. You get what you pay for.

the tires are cheap and so are the tubes had it less than a year tire spilt hole in the tube it sits in my garge when not it use

Works good but if you let the tires get long it is hard to get an air chuck on the tube stem as it sinks back into the rim. I had to get a small screwdrivers to hol it out. I had to worry about nicking the tube. One valve stem was worse than the other it seemed bent differently. So after 20 minutes they both have air again.
