Our product return and exchange process is very easy. Simply return the product within 30 days of the date of purchase. Fill out the return form on the back of the invoice you received and send it with the product. Once we receive the merchandise back we will send out new items and/or credit the original form of payment.

The Freedom Solar Portable Power by Brunton has a power storage capacity of 2,200 mAh and 1,000 mAh output.
Before you use the Freedom you need to charge it up fully. I plugged it into the wall to charge, and charged my iPhone. Now the that battery was primed I guess, I tried the solar charger. I live on the coast and I am sad to say it is most often overcast here. I placed the Freedom on my deck during the day. It took a good 3+ days in cloudy /mostly cloudy conditions to get 100% charged. I did another experiment in good direct sunlight but I forgot about it. It was fully charged but I don't know how long it took. 6 hours? I like the security of having the Freedom. Having an extra battery or power pack is the way to go if you are in a hurry or need power all the time. But the added security of powering up or partially powering up my device is where the real value for this item is. I give this 3.5 stars because it is not miraculous. That said this is solar technology and for the size and price you get what you pay for. Solar devices today are like early airplanes in the early 20th century. Again for the size and price it does what it is supposed to do and for that I really like it.
