Darting through huge rapids or carrying a load to camp, the versatility of the Jaguarundi is unparalleled. Ample bow and stern rise improves speed, tracking and maneuverability. The 24-inch diameter tubes and 16-foot length give you plenty of room for any gear and passenger combination. What I like most about this boat is its versatility. Originally I owned an Ocelot--the 14' cat in this series--but needed more capacity for additional passengers and gear. It does everything a heavier 14' traditional round raft or driftboat can do in terms of passengers and gear. But it rows so much nicer and floats like a cork in whitewater.

Had this boat since '2001 - best white water boat ever. Most of my boating is in Alaska - used this boat for big water, remote expedition and day fishing - great for all of them - I do modify my floor configuration according to the trip needs. Never a leak. Tracks great.

We just ran our brand new purple Jag down the Main Salmon, 100 miles of med-big flows, and had a fabulous ride. My wife and I have a Wildcat, an Ocelot and now this Jag. We just can't get enough of our Boats from Aire. The jag is just bomb-proof. Talk about a feeling of security in Big Water. Even loaded the Jag just punches right through big waves and knifes through wild and calm water with ease. This boat has serious "class" and is the best looking craft on the river. I would not hesitate running this boat down class 5 white water. It handles class 4 without a flinch. We have 66 inch wide NRS frames for our catarafts and find it perfect for the Jag as well. 72 inch frames are fine too, but the 66 inch performs better we think. Looks better too. Awesome boat for gear and 2-4 people on a long river, and a great day runner with lots of passengers! The new rocker on the tubes is perfect! Thank s Aire!
