Outdoorplay happily accepts product returns and exchanges.
Our product return and exchange process is very easy. Simply return the product within 30 days of the date of purchase. Fill out the return form on the back of the invoice you received and send it with the product. Once we receive the merchandise back we will send out new items and/or credit the original form of payment.
We offer FREE Shipping on every order over $39 to anywhere in the continental USA! Orders under are only $6.95.
International Orders: No problem. We ship all over the world! Just add items to your cart and proceed to checkout to receive shipping rates. Rates are based on address location. For all kayak orders, we will contact you with a shipping quote. Your order will not be finalized until you approve the shipping charges. Please note international shipping times can vary due to location and Customs processing time. Average delivery time is approximately 2 weeks. Strait Edge 2 Inflatable Kayak - While most self-bailing kayaks are designed for paddling whitewater, the Strait Edge 2 is the first two-person inflatable to incorporate an aluminum bow and stern frame to improve tracking in open water conditions. When the chambers are inflated these frame ribs press against the outer cover and form a high performance bow and stern. The hull design is similar to a hardshell sit-on-top kayak. The self-bailing design allows the Strait Edge 2 to shed water while paddling in bigger waves. You can also close the ports in calm or cold water for a drier ride. Three seating positions allow for the kayak to be set up in solo or tandem mode. The breathable foam mesh back supports and padded seats are perfect for all day paddling comfort. Two included rod holder give you increase versatility for fishing. The Strait Edge 2 is heavy-duty PVC Tarpaulin material. It is made by combining two sheets of PVC with a fabric mesh in the middle for extreme puncture resistance. Best of all, it can be packed away into its included duffel bag and carried into remote locations. I have finally been out in the StraitEdge2 with two people paddling! Yahoo!! You can make good time with two people working so long as you are co-ordinating your paddling. 47lbs is very light for 2 people and the kayak fairly zings along compared to when I paddle by myself. I still have to work for the tracking more than a hard shell, but it's the same as my old sit-on-top. The kayak lives up to it's purpose. 230cm paddles seem to be the length needed because of the wide main air chambers. Everyone who has used this has commented on its amazing level of stability. And everyone who has used it has ended up taking a nap somewhere during their StraitEdge2 adventure! I keep going back to the stability and comfort of this kayak. Even newbies feel safe enough to lay back and close their eyes for a nap, trusting it will not tip in the ocean swells.

I have taken the StraitEdge2 out three times now. I continue to be impressed by the basic stability. I have been out in significant ocean swells with winds up to 15 knots with no problem. I have to reiterate that if you are intending doing distance paddling as a solo paddler, you will get there in the end, but it is not a fast craft and you need to plan accordingly. I have paddled this with a passenger, but only with one person paddling; Progress will increase significantly with two paddlers. It would be a light kayak with two person power. Paddling into the wind was not to bad at all, a pleasant surprise. This kayak had no problems holding two passengers, combined weight of 390 lbs; we could have loaded her up with plenty of extra gear with no problem. If you want a very stable, load bearing sit-on-top kayak this is a good choice.
